چکیده
Abstract Background Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is characterized by the remodeling of pulmonary arteries, with an increased pressure and right ventricle (RV) overload. Until now, there still a lack effective treatment applied. Experimental research has reported beneficial effects mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) therapy in PAH. However, are few studies on human umbilical cord (hUC-MSCs) transplantation Purpose The purpose present study was to observe protective effect hUC-MSCs against experimental PAH colonization lung tissue. Methods Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: control group, monocrotaline (MCT)-induced cell group (PAH+ hUC-MSCs). Rats induced one-time intraperitoneal injection 60mg/kg (PAH PAH+hUC-MSCs groups) at beginning experiment, while received saline (SAL) instead. Huc-Mscs treated tail vein twice 1 2 weeks later (PAH+huc-MSC dose: 3x106/each time), Ctr groups given same volume SAL vein. On day 28, Right ventricular systolic pressures (RVSP) measured cardiac catheterization. WT% WA% arterioles evaluated ipp6.0 Image Analysis Software. hypertrophy index (RVHI) weighing method. tissue detected immunohistochemistry. Results RVHI RVSP MCT-induced significantly higher than those (P<0.05). Compared RVHI, RVSP, WT%, lower Immunohistochemical examination showed that nuclear staining brown, no observed group. Conclusions In PAH, can transplanted tissues injection. reduced vascular remodeling, improved hemodynamics. Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: Foundation. In-vitro Differentiation of Human Umbilical Cord Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cells to Insulin-Producing Cells
Background & Objective: Diabetes is a major chronic metabolic disease in the world. Islet transplantation is a way to treat diabetes. Unfortunately, this method is restricted due to graft rejection and lack of donor islets. Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCS) have the ability to differentiate into Insulin-Producing Cells (IPCs). In this study, Human Umbilical Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HUMSCS) were in...

Brain injuries that caused by strokes (result of intra partum ischemia) are a frequent cause of prenatal mortality and morbidity with limited therapeutic options. Transplanting human mesenchymal stem cells (hmscs) indicates improvement in hypoxic Ischemic brain injury (HIBD) by secretion growth factor stimulating repair processes (Hmscs) known as multi potent cells which isolated from bone marr...

Background: In recent decade, human umbilical cord blood derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUCB-MSCs) provide enormous potential for appropriate cell therapy, but they have limited growth potential and cease to proliferate due to cellular senescence, so providing a strategy for increasing the stem cell survival is necessary. Methods: In this investigation, MSCs characterized by flow cytome...
